Helen K. (Markle) Lawrence, 98, passed Thursday, July 9, 2024, at Cross Keys Village, The Brethren Home Community. She was the wife of the late Lavern K. Lawrence, her husband of 72 years, who passed August 8, 2018.

Helen was born December 29, 1925, in Hanover, the daughter of the late Richard and Emma (Pittinger) Markle.

Helen was a member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, Abbottstown.

Helen is survived by a son, Terry L. Lawrence and his wife Joan, of Hanover, a granddaughter, Lori Lawrence of Hanover, a grandson, Tony A. Lawrence and his wife Maria of Hanover, four great grandchildren, Chase, Peyton, Brent and Ashley, four great great grandchildren, a niece, Linda Staub and her partner Ellen of Phoenixville, and a nephew, John Geiselman III and his wife Angie of Hanover. She was predeceased by a sister, Janet Geiselman and a great great granddaughter, Ava Lawrence.
