Gussie R. (Graf) Elicker, 80, died Sunday, January 22, 2017, at her residence. She was the wife of the late David H. Elicker, who died December 17, 2005.
Gussie was born September 30, 1936, in Lineboro, MD, the daughter of the late Jacob H. and Kathryn E. (Rohrbaugh) Graf
Gussie attended Paradise "Holtzschwamm" Lutheran Church in Thomasville, and volunteered at the East Berlin Community Center. She loved tending to her flower gardens and plants, and enjoyed spending time with her grandsons, reading, and doing puzzles.
Gussie is survived by two daughters, Patricia A. Beckman and her husband, Michael of Linden, and Susan A. Parr and her husband, Michael of East Berlin; four grandchildren, Seth Beckman, Shane Beckman and his wife, Sara, Neil Myers, and Samuel Parr; three brothers, Wilson E. Graf of Hanover, Ivan J. Graf of Abbottstown, and Dale N. Graf of Hanover; and two sisters, Dorothy M. Chronister of FL, and Janie Cox of NJ. She was predeceased by three brothers, Donald E., Richard H. and Albert L. Graf; and a sister, Helen V. Cave.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 27, 2017 at 10:30 a.m., at Paradise "Holtzschwamm" Lutheran Church, 3241 Church Rd, Thomasville, with the Rev. Timothy Seitz-Brown officiating. Burial will be in Mummert's Church Cemetery in Abbottstown. Serving as pallbearers will be Michael Parr, Samuel Parr, Michael Beckman, Seth Beckman, Shane Beckman, and Neil Myers. There will be no viewing, however, the family will receive friends at the church on Friday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the service.
