Grace E. Myers, 85, of Gettysburg, died, Friday, September 22, 2017, at the Brethren Home Community, New Oxford. She was the wife of Martin L. Myers, her husband of 66 years.

Grace was born June 16, 1932 in Whitetop Mountain, VA., the daughter of the late Arthur Milton and Elsie M. (Weaver) Olson.

Grace was a member of the Gettysburg Foursquare Gospel Church where she also was a Sunday school teacher for many years. She retired in 1994 from Herff Jones Co.

In addition to her husband Martin, Grace is survived by a son-in-law, Geoffrey Phelan of CA, a son, Michael R. Myers and his wife Cathy of New Providence, a daughter Elizabeth A. Buford and her husband Robert of Lucas, OH, and a daughter Carole L. Hardman and her husband Raymond of Hanover, 14 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, two step grandchildren, three step great grandchildren, four brothers, Howard Olson of Hanover, William Olson of Bossier City, LA, Martin Olson of OH, and P. Steven Olson of Mont Alto, and two sisters, R. Helen Cline of OH and Anne Capello of Harrisburg.  A daughter, Donna R. Phelan, of CA, passed away hours after her Mother, Grace. She was predeceased by a brother John Olson.

Funeral services will be held Friday, September 29, 2017 at 2:00 PM from Christ Chapel Foursquare Gospel Church, 225 New Chester Rd., Gettysburg, PA, with Dr. Michael R. Myers officiating. Burial will be in Oak Lawn Memorial Gardens, Gettysburg. A viewing will be held Thursday from 6-8 PM at Feiser Funeral Home, Inc., 302 Lincolnway West, New Oxford, and Friday, 1PM until the time of the service at the church.
