Glines V. "Dennis" Maggard, 69, of Gettysburg, died Saturday, April 23, 2016 at York Hospital. He was the husband of the late Veronica L. (Petrey) Maggard, who died November 9, 2012. Dennis was born July 28, 1946 in Kentucky, the son of the late Burton and Lula (Young) Maggard. Dennis is survived by a son, Van Maggard, Jr and his wife Connie of Gettysburg, 4 grandchildren; Shawna Maggard, Matt Maggard, Bradley Maggard and Clayton Lester, 4 great grandchildren; Jeremy Hawk, Joseph Hawk, Teagan Maggard, and Daniel Lester, and a sister, Ginny Shultz of East Berlin. He was predeceased by a brother, Allard Maggard. Funeral services and burial will be private. Feiser Funeral Home, Inc, 302 Lincolnway West, New Oxford, is in charge of arrangements.
