Glenn W. McGregor

Glenn W. McGregor, 83, died Sunday, January 15, 2017 at his residence. He was the husband of Lois J. (Shope) McGregor, his wife of 49 years, who died March 3, 2007.
Glenn was born June 8, 1933 in Washington Twp., York Co., the son of the late Harry A. and Gretna M. (Myers) McGregor.
Glenn was a member of St. Paul's "Red Run" U.C.C. in East Berlin, where he served on the cemetery board, the East Berlin V.F.W., New Oxford Social & Athletic Club, and the Dillsburg Legion. He was a graduate of East Berlin High School and served in the U.S. Army. He was the judge of elections in Washington Twp. for many years, was an avid bowler, and enjoyed attending produce auctions, and tending a stand at the Hanover Farmers' Market.
Glenn is survived by two sons, Daniel L. McGregor and his wife, April, and Matthew H. McGregor, all of East Berlin; five grandchildren; a great-granddaughter; a brother, Ralph H. McGregor of East Berlin; and two sisters, Dorothy J. Mentzer-Edquist of New Cumberland and Mary Ann Pentz of Dover.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 20, 2017 at 11 a.m., at St. Paul's "Red Run" U.C.C., 6623 Davidsburg Rd, East Berlin, with the Rev. Guy Wenck officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. A visitation will be held at the church on Friday from 10 a.m. until the time of the service. Memorial contributions may be made to the church memorial fund.
