Gerald Flynn, 84, of East Berlin, entered God’s eternal care on Saturday, February 21, 2026, at WellSpan York Hospital.

Born October 28, 1941, in Baltimore, MD, Gerald was the son of the late Beatrice Flynn. Gerald was the eldest son of 13 children. He was the loving husband to Elizabeth Flynn with whom he shared 22 years of marriage.

Gerald was a Vietnam Veteran and served his country very proudly in the U.S. Army. Following his military service, Gerald worked as a Plant Manager at SKF and retired after 30 years of loyal occupation.

In his free time, Gerald enjoyed collecting Coca-Cola collectibles, which included often going to yard-sales and flea markets, as well as playing cards and socializing with anyone and everyone. Gerald enjoyed spending time with people most of all.

In addition to his wife Elizabeth, Gerald is survived by 8 children, Mark Flynn, James Flynn, Jason Flynn & wife Breanna, Abagail Brehman & husband Dale, Michael Flanagan, Hannah Flynn & her fiancé Nicholas Fasick, Monelson Deputy, and Hunter Flynn. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren, Tiffany Spooner, Andy Flynn, Sarah Flynn, Jacob Flynn, Devyn Flynn, Grayson Flynn, Clare Laughman, and Kyle Laughman, as well as 2 great-grandchildren, Addison Spooner and Willow Flynn.

Following cremation, services will be private in accordance with the family’s wishes. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly suggests memorial contributions in Gerald’s honor be made to the VFW. Donations may be made online at https://heroes.vfw.org/.
