Gary E. Becker, 85, of New Oxford, entered eternal rest on Tuesday, August 11, 2026, at Transitions Healthcare Gettysburg. He was born in Hanover and was the son of the late Edward J. and Grace (Smeltz) Becker.

He was a proud veteran of the United States Army. Gary spent his life driving truck, a career from which he retired.

Gary was a Life Member of the New Oxford Social & Athletic Club, a member of the Hanover VFW Post 2506, and the Republican Club. He enjoyed reading, but his favorite activity was riding his motorcycle as much as he could.

He was survived by his sons, James E. Becker (Judy), of Thomasville and Timothy L. Becker, Sr. (Lisa Cluster) of New Oxford; numerous, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend Gary’s Celebration of Life at the New Oxford Social & Athletic Club, 200 W. Golden Lane, New Oxford, PA on Friday, September 4, 2026, from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
