Fumiko Zellers, born December 13, 1929, died today, Thursday, February 17, 2022.  She was the beloved wife of Neal Zellers, who preceded her in death.  She is survived by her loving daughter, Kathy Gosnell and grandson Chris Gosnell and his wife, Cindy Chamblee, and her sisters, Noriko Selle of GA, and Yoko Willis of FL.  She was a survivor.  She survived the death of her mother at childbirth, and the death of her grandfather who was caring for her until she was 8 years old.  During the war, she lived in a cave and endured the internment camp after the war in her early teens.  And yet, she remained an optimistic, loving, kind and caring person even though she became blind with macular degeneration and partially paralyzed from a recent stroke.  Never bitter, she chose to be grateful for the visits from her friends and family, and the care she received from the staff of Homewood at Plum Creek.  We will miss her.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Benevolence fund at Homewood at Plum Creek, 425 Westminster Rd., Hanover, PA. 17331
