Francis T. "John" Weaver, 95, passed Friday, June 28, 2024 at the home of his daughter.
John was born January 16, 1929 in Mt. Pleasant Twp, the son of the late Edward L. and Ellen C. (Todt) Weaver.
John was a U.S. Army Veteran during the Korean War with the 6th Armored Cavalry. He was a life member of New Oxford Social and Athletic Club, Hanover V.F.W., Catholic War Veterans, Bonneauville, McSherrystown Home Association,Hanover Home Association, and McSherrystown Fish and Game. John enjoyed fishing and hunting and was remembered by friends and neighbors for his fish frys.
John is survived by two daughters, Barbara A. Klinedinst and her husband Tom of New Oxford, and Debra J. Biles and her husband Chris of York Springs, two grandchildren, Jonathan Klinedinst and Kelly Weaver, and three great grandchildren, Kam Weaver, Tyler Klinedinst and Hunter Klinedinst. He was predeceased by a son, Michael T. Weaver, a granddaughter Carrie Weaver, two brothers, Louis and Bernard Weaver, and three sisters, Sare Little, Elsie Staub and Mildred Little.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, July 9, 2024, at 10:00 AM, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 106 Carlisle St. New Oxford, with Rev. Keith Carroll officiating. Burial will be in St. Joseph "The Worker" Cemetery, Bonneauville. A viewing will be held on Monday from 6-8 PM, at Feiser Funeral Home, Inc, 302 Lincoln Way West, New Oxford, with a rosary service at 8 PM. Memories may be shared at www.feiserfuneralhome.com.
