Frances G. "Fran" Rowell, 85, passed Thursday, January 30, 2025, at Paramount Nursing and Rehabilitation in Fayetteville, PA.

Fran was born December 27, 1939, in Albemarle County, VA, the daughter of the late John E. and Frances G. (Carpenter) Rowell.

Fran was a member of Party Dolls of the Red Hat Society, Historic Germanna, and loved organizing tea gatherings and going for tea.

Fran is survived by a sister, Patricia Rowell Rucker of Fayetteville, PA, two nephews, John V. Rucker and his wife Kelli of Birmingham, AL, and Sam Taylor of Roanoke, VA, a niece, Anne R. Zero and her husband James of New Oxford, PA, and numerous great nieces and great nephews.  She was predeceased by a sister, Tama Taylor.
