Eva M. (Shaffer) Bullock, 83, died Wednesday, March 1, 2017 at The Brethren Home Community. She was the wife of Gary R. Bullock, her husband of 38 years.
Eva was born June 5, 1933 in Baltimore Co., MD, the daughter of the late Walter and Viola (Brown) Shaffer.
Eva was a member of the Hampton Fire Co. Ladies Auxiliary and the Good Sam Camping Club.
In addition to her husband Gary, Eva is survived by two sons, Roland K. Wilson, Jr., and his wife, Tina, and Norman D. Wilson and his wife, Bonnie, all of Manchester, MD; a stepdaughter, Alice R. VanGilder and her husband, Ken of Mt. Airy, MD; a stepson, Robert A. Bullock of Reisterstown, MD; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; a brother, Paul Shaffer of Berkeley Springs, WV; and two sisters, Hilda Chamberlain of Sebre, KY, and Margaret Morelock of Hanover. She was predeceased by a grandson, Keith A. Wilson; and three brothers, Lewis, Leonard and Russell Shaffer.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 6, 2017 at 11 a.m., at the Feiser Funeral Home, Inc, 302 Lincoln Way West, New Oxford, with Rev. Kristin Dubsky officiating. Burial will be in Marburg Memorial Gardens in Hanover. Viewings will be held at the funeral home on Sunday from 3-5 p.m. and on Monday from 10 a.m. until the time of the service.
