Erma L. (Emig) Becker, 96, passed Saturday, January 11, 2025, at her home.  She was the wife of the late Edward C. Becker, her husband of 65 years, who passed April 7, 2015.

Erma was born June 18, 1928, in Abbottstown, the daughter of the late Robert G.W. and Mabel M. (Hoke) Emig.

Erma was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Abbottstown, and owned Becker's Family Restaurant in Abbottstown with her husband.

Erma is survived by two sons, Randy L. Becker and his wife Barbara, of Thomasville, and Thomas E. Becker of East Berlin, a daughter, Tammy S. Groft and her husband Chris of Hanover, six grandchildren, six great grandchildren, and a sister, Carolyn Holsopple of Abbottstown.  She was predeceased by a grandson, Adam T. Becker, four sisters, Anna Sanders, Lena Breighner, Doris Lease and Geraldine Roomsburg, and four brothers, Clair, Laverne, Harold and Kenneth Emig.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, January 15, 2025, at 11 AM, at St. John's Lutheran Church, 100 E. Water St, Abbottstown, with her pastor, Rev. Shawn Berkebile officiating.  Burial will be in the church cemetery.  There will be no viewing, however, the family will receive friends at the church on Wednesday, from 9 AM until the time of the service.  Memorial contributions may be made to St. John's Lutheran Church Endowment Fund.  Feiser Funeral Home, Inc, 302 Lincoln Way West, New Oxford, is in charge of arrangements.  Memories may be shared at www.feiserfuneralhome.com.
