Eric M. Simerly, 33, died Friday, June 8, 2018, at his residence.

Eric was born May 12, 1985, in Hanover, the son of Dee Neff of Wellsville, and David V. and Sherri Simerly of New Oxford.

Eric was a 2003 graduate of New Oxford High School, and served in the U.S. Army Reserves at Ft. Leonard Wood in MO, from 2003-2005.

In addition to his parents, Eric is survived by a daughter, Claudia Rae Bailey, his stepfather, Charles Crisamore of Dover, two brothers, Dylan Simerly of New Oxford, and Brandon Crisamore of Flowery Branch, GA, two sisters, Brionna Myers and her husband Josh of Manchester, and Whitney Slate and her husband Josh of Thomasville, his grandparents, Gloria Simerly of Hanover, Dottie Storm of New Oxford, Nancy Neff of Flowery Branch, GA, and ZadaBelle Crisamore of York, and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.  He was predeceased by grandparents Valley Simerly, Eugene Neff and Robert Storm.
