Emory M. Altland, Jr, 76, passed Friday, February 11, 2022, at UPMC Hanover Hospital.

Emory was born October 31, 1945, in York Co., the son of the late Clarence and Beulah R. (Heiner) Shipley, and the late Emory M. Altland, Sr.

Emory was a member of Paradisus Church of God Praise and Worship Center in Thomasville.

Emory is survived by two daughters, Mychelle A. Wolf and her husband Randy of New Oxford, and Theresa J. Taylor and her husband Allen of TX, a daughter-in-law, Nelda L. Altland of TX, seven grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, a brother, Frederick A. Shipley, Sr, of York, and two sisters, Darlene D. Godfrey of Seven Valleys, and Deborah A. Day of Thomasville. He was predeceased by a son, Matthew E. Altland.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, February 16, 2022, at 11 AM, at Feiser Funeral Home, Inc, 302 Lincoln Way West, New Oxford, with Pastor Richard Chronister officiating.  Burial will be in Christ "Roth's" Lutheran Church Cemetery in Spring Grove.  A viewing will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday from 10 AM until the time of the service.  Memories may be shared at www.feiserfuneralhome.com.
