Emma E. (Taylor) Hossler, 82, entered her eternal home in Heaven on Wednesday, January 20, 2021, at WellSpan York Hospital with her family by her side. She was the wife of John E. Hossler, her husband of 23 years.
Emma was born January 5, 1939, in York County, one of seven children born to the daughter of the late Gillis and Harriet (Kauffman) Taylor.
Emma was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in New Oxford, and retired from the law firm of McNees Wallace & Nurick after more than 30 years. Emma loved living in the country with her husband John and her dogs, and enjoyed camping, riding motorcycles, including going to Sturgis, and going on snowmobile trips with John and the Adams County Snowmobile Club.
In addition to her husband John, Emma is survived by two daughters, Lorraine Tucker and her late husband Dave of TX, and Gina Hanmer and her husband Darrel of York Springs, a son, Steve Sheely and his wife Carrie of Lemoyne, a step daughter, Cathy Pope and her husband Rick of Dover, six grandchildren, and several great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be private. Memorial contributions may be made to York Springs, Fire Company and EMS, 312 Main St, York Springs, PA 17372. Feiser Funeral Home, Inc, 306 Harrisburg St, East Berlin, is in charge of arrangements.
