Edward L. Moran, 85, passed Saturday, May 24, 2025, at The Brethren Home Community.  He was the husband of Mary Jo (Mooney) Moran, his wife of 65 years.

Ed was born March 24, 1940, in Baltimore, MD, the son of the late Louis E. and Elizabeth (Knauer) Moran.

Ed spent his career as a lithographer in the printing industry, was an active volunteer at Cross Keys Village The Brethren Home Community, played many sports in his youth, and was an avid golfer and billiards player.

In addition to his wife Mary Jo, Ed is survived by two daughters, Theresa L. Mozzano and her husband Orlando of Thurmont, MD, and Amy E. Moran and her husband Christopher Gay of Frostburg, MD, six grandchildren, and two great grandchildren.  He was predeceased by a daughter, Linda L. Conely.

A service to celebrate Ed's life will be held on Saturday, June 7, 2025, at 11 AM, at The Nicarry Meeting House of The Brethren Home Community, 2990 Carlisle Pike, New Oxford.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Salvation Army, 114 Broadway, Hanover, PA 17331, or to PA Food Bank, 3908 Corey Rd, Harrisburg, PA 17109.  Feiser Funeral Home, Inc, 302 Lincoln Way West, New Oxford, is in charge of arrangements.  Memories may be shared at www.feiserfuneralhome.com.
