Earl R. Raubenstine, 88, passed Monday, November 13, 2023, at SpiriTrust Lutheran, Village at Kelly Drive, York. He was the husband of the late Eleanor A. (Bair) Raubenstine.
Earl was born January 31, 1935, in Pleasant Hill, the son of the late Clayton and Minnie (Masemer) Raubenstine.
Earl was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Hanover, and McSherrystown Fish and Game. He loved boating and was an avid fisherman.
Earl is survived by two sons, David B. Raubenstine of New Oxford, and Andrew R. Raubenstine and his wife Cherie of Hanover, three grandchildren, Dylan C. Raubenstine, Jared A. Raubenstine, and Tyler D. Raubenstine, a brother, Merle Raubenstine of York, and a sister, Jeannie Wildasin of Hanover. He was predeceased by a daughter, Christa A. Raubenstine, and a daughter-in-law, Lorrie A. Raubenstine.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, November 16, 2023, at 11 AM, at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, 220 3rd St, Hanover, with Rev. Michael P. Reid, II officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. A viewing will be held at the church on Thursday, from 10 AM until the time of the Mass. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, PO Box 42040, Oklahoma City, OK 73123. Feiser Funeral Home, Inc, 302 Lincoln Way West, New Oxford, is in charge of arrangements.
