Elizabeth Rebecca "Becky" Rife, 89, went to be with her husband, Hilly, on May 19, 2016.
Becky was always concerned with looking her very best, and was as beautiful on the inside as she was on the outside. She owned and operated a beauty shop in New Oxford for 50 years. She spent the last 10 years traveling between her residence in Florida and the family farm in New Oxford; which is where her ashes will be laid to rest at a private service to be held at a later date.
She and her husband built, owned and operated Lincoln Speedway for 23 years. Her unconditional love for her family made her the staple, the very foundation, for their strong family union.
She was the daughter of Mabel Ashbaugh Wenschhof and Robert Wenschhof of Gettysburg.
Becky is survived by a daughter, Vicki Hughes; two sons, Hilly (Sally) and Larry (Denise) Rife; 11 grandchildren; 16 great- grandchildren; a sister, Arlene Houck; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents; two sisters; and three brothers.
