E. Lois (Recker) Lupp, 91, passed Thursday, December 28, 2023 at Rest Haven Nursing Home, York. She was the wife of the late Gilbert J. Lupp, Jr, who passed on October 29, 1991.

Lois was born March 27, 1932, in Milford, CT, the daughter of the late Harold E. and Esther L. Recker.

Lois attended Memorial Baptist Church in Gettysburg, enjoyed being a caregiver for family and friends, was devoted to her Christian faith, loved to read books, especially mystery novels, and playing bingo.  Lois was a loving mother, and her children enjoyed taking care of her after Gilbert's passing

Lois is survived by a daughter, Beverly J. Hollabaugh, of New Oxford, a son, William "Bill" Lupp, and his wife Rebecca J., of York, six grandchildren, and two step grandchildren. She was predeceased by two grandchildren, Candice A. Berger-Parent, and Robert C. Berger, her stepmother, Clara (Stonesifer) Recker, and two sisters, Mary E. Recker and Dorothy I. Furlough.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, January 10, 2024, at 11 AM, at Memorial Baptist Church, 1096 Biglerville Rd, Gettysburg, with Pastor Jeff Sours officiating. Burial will be at 2 PM in Biglerville Cemetery. A visitation will be held at the church on Wednesday from 10 AM until the time of service.  Memorial contributions may be made to the church.
