Doyle "Butch" Stambaugh

Doyle R. "Butch" Stambaugh, 74, of East Berlin, passed peacefully on Saturday, May 20, 2017 at the York Hospital. He was the husband of Emily Diana "Diane" (Lemmon) Stambaugh, who died on May 29, 2015, his wife of 55 years.
Butch was born March 28, 1943, the son of the late Paul and Hazel (Shoemaker) Stambaugh.
Butch was a member of the New Oxford Social and Athletic Club, a member of the East Berlin VFW, Richard J. Gross, Post 8896, and a member of the American Legion, Shiloh Post 791. Butch loved to go to the cabin in the mountains with his family. Butch will be remembered as a hardworking family man and for loving his grandchildren.
Butch is survived by two sons, Wayde Stambaugh and Matthew Stambaugh, both of Dover; ten grandchildren, Kayla, Meagan and her husband, Scott, Tyler, Sunshine, Brayton, Carmen, Maci, Brynn, Dayde and Crew; one great-granddaughter, Lana; and one sister, Joyce Miller of West York. He was predeceased by a daughter, Michelle D. "Shelly" Stambaugh.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 27, 2017 at 12 p.m. at the Feiser Funeral Home, Inc, 306 Harrisburg St., East Berlin, with the Rev. Larry Miller officiating. Burial will be in Hampton Union Cemetery. A viewing will be held at the funeral home on Saturday from 10 a.m. until the time of service. Memories may be shared at www.feiserfuneralhome.com.
