Dorothy (Kline) Matter, 89, of East Berlin, and formerly of Millerstown, went to be with her Lord on February 19, 2025. She was a dedicated farm wife of the late Boyd Blayne Matter.

Dorothy was born February 20, 1935, in Danville, the daughter of the late Roy and Rebecca (Oldt) Kline.

Dorothy found joy in life through writing poetry and songs, including a book of her own poetry titled "Nuggets of Gold", playing piano in church and crocheting.

Dorothy is survived by her three children and their families, a son, Tim Matter and his wife Terri and their children, Anita, Zach, and Sara, and grandchildren, Chloe, Jonny, Aushpreet and Snaya, a son, Rick Matter and his wife Julie, and a daughter, Sandy Matter-Smithson and her husband Michael, and their children Jasmyn and Jessica, a sister, Nancy Ernest and a brother, Ronald Kline. She was predeceased by a sister, Wanda Snyder.
