Obituary

Doris M. (Clouser) Fuseck, 94, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, June 2, 2021, at WellSpan York Hospital.  She was the wife of the late Rudolph S. "Rudy" Fuseck, who died January 11, 2004.

Doris was born September 25, 1926, in Bellwood, PA, the daughter of the late Norman A. and Margaret J. (Irwin) Clouser and the third of twelve children.

Doris was a member of The Faith Community of The Brethren Home Community in New Oxford, PA, and a well-loved square dancer with the Ohio Buckeyes.  "Dory" was very active in her faith as a Bible School teacher, a Sunday school teacher for 50 years, an elder at North Presbyterian Church, and a member of the Lady's Guild. She was an avid volunteer serving with the Girl Scouts and as president of the PTA. She and Rudy were foster parents to more than a dozen children.

Dory was well known for taking lot of family photos, playing cards, telling family stories, and could always be found with a book in hand. She loved the Lord with all her heart and shared that faith thorough her kindness and love of others. Her laughter was a joy to hear and will be missed.

Doris is survived by sisters Elsie, Carol, and Rhonda, brother Norman Charles (Chuck), her daughter, Karen R. Rowley and her husband William A. of Mechanicsburg, step-daughters Stephanna and Suzanne both of OR, granddaughter, Cynthia Neumyer (John), step-granddaughters Carrie and Charlene, and step-great-granddaughter Madison. She was predeceased by brothers Glen, Paul, Kenneth, and Marvin, sisters Marcella, June, and Janet, two sons, Michael R. Fuseck and Baby Boy Fuseck, and a step-granddaughter, Mary.
