Dorcas L. (Spahr) Myers, 92, died Thursday, December 20, 2018, at her home, surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of the late Mervin G. Myers, who died on May 14, 1999.

Dorcas was born December 19, 1926 in Reading Township, the daughter of the late Christian E. and Verna (Neiman) Spahr.

Dorcas was an avid gardener, homemaker, and helped with the family farm.

Dorcas is survived by a son, Ray G. Myers of East Berlin, four daughters; Carolyn L. Hunt of Hanover, Kathy M. Guth and her husband John W. of Abbottstown, Sarah Jayne Myers of East Berlin, and Susan E. Myers of East Berlin, four grandchildren; Matthew Hunt and his fiancée Erica, Kyrstin Guth and her companion Mathew Houston, Hannah Guth and Evan Guth, three great grandchildren; Ava, Arabela and Aurora, and a sister, Grace Snelbaker of Mechanicsburg. She was predeceased by two brothers; William and Leroy Spahr, and three sisters; Anna Byerts, Mae Sager and Aria Roseberry, and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, December 28, 2018 at 10 AM, at Zwingli U.C.C., 403 W. King St., East Berlin, with the Rev. Julia Beall officiating. Burial will be in East Berlin Union Cemetery. A viewing will be held on Thursday, from 6-8 PM, at the Feiser Funeral Home, Inc, 306 Harrisburg St., East Berlin.
