Donald L. Wolfe, 80, died Monday, February 27, 2017 at Gettysburg Hospital. He was the husband of Dorothy G. (Howe) Wolfe, his wife of 40 years, who died October 4, 2008.
Donald was born May 4, 1936, in Elkins, WV, the son of the late Eugene T. and Evie V. (Schoonover) Wolfe.
Donald was a member of St. John's U.C.C. in New Chester, and was employed at the Thomasville Stone Quarry.
Donald is survived by a brother, Bradford A. Wolfe, and his wife Patricia of Hanover, and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by two brothers, Robert and Howard Wolfe, and two sisters, Susie Wolfe and Mary Ann Kaiser.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 3, 2017 at 10 a.m., at the Feiser Funeral Home, Inc., 302 LincolnWay West, New Oxford, with his pastor, Rev. Douglas C. Hahn officiating. Burial will be in New Oxford Cemetery. A viewing will be held at the funeral home on Friday from 9 to 10 a.m. Memories may be shared at www.feiserfuneralhome.com.
