Donald H. Hippensteel, Sr, 84, passed Sunday, November 5, 2023, at his home.  He was the husband of the late Joyce E. (Zeigler) Hippensteel, who passed December 22, 2021.

Donald was born December 25, 1938, in New Oxford, the son of the late Charles and Estella (Becker) Hippensteel.

Donald served in the U.S. Army, and was employed at New Oxford Social and Athletic Club in New Oxford for many years.  He was a life member of the Social Club, McSherrystown Home Association, and East Berlin. V.F.W.

Donald is survived by two sons, Donald H. Hippensteel, Jr, and Barry L. Hippensteel, both of East Berlin, a daughter, Kathy M. Hippensteel of East Berlin, two sisters, Hazel Baker and Jean Treadway, both of Hanover, and a brother, Steve Hippensteel of New Oxford.  He was predeceased by three sisters, Dorothy Surrency, Delores Rinehart and Ruth Shrader, three brothers, Charles Hippensteel, Jr, Lloyd Hippensteel and Ted Hippensteel, and a brother-in-law, Kermit Zeigler.

A viewing will be held on Tuesday, November 14, 2023, at Feiser Funeral Home, Inc, 306 Harrisburg St, East Berlin, from 6-7 PM.  Funeral services and burial will be private.  Memories may be shared at www.feiserfuneralhome.com.
