Donald L. Hilbert, 96, passed Wednesday, March 16, 2022, at The Brethren Home Community.  He was the husband of the late Madeline P. (Huffman) Hilbert, who passed January 25, 2009.

Don was born May 22, 1925, in Dayton, VA, the son of the late Jacob and Sallie (Baker) Hilbert.

Don was a member of Emory U.M. Church in New Oxford, and he was an active volunteer at The Brethren Home Community.

Don is survived by a son, Brian W. Hilbert and his wife Robin of Baltimore, MD, a daughter, Donna H. Haun and her husband Roger of York, four grandchildren, and seven great grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, March 22, 2022, at 11 AM, at New Oxford Cemetery, York Rd, New Oxford.  Feiser Funeral Home, Inc, 302 Lincoln Way West, New Oxford, is in charge of arrangements.  Memories may be shared at www.feiserfuneralhome.com.
