Donald A. "Don" Hinkle, 84, died Tuesday, December 11, 2018 at the Brethren Home Community, New Oxford. He was the husband of R. Donna (Joyner) Hinkle, his wife of 43 years.

Don was born August 21, 1934 in East Berlin, the son of the late Aubrey H.

and Ellen (Leas) Hinkle.

Don was a member of Zwingli U.C.C. in East Berlin and served in the U.S. Army.

In addition to his wife Donna, Don is survived by one son, Mikel Scott Hinkle and his wife Debbie of Lexington, SC, one daughter, Monica R. Langston and her husband Scott of Glenville, two grandchildren; Amber Hinkle and Elle Langston, two step grandchildren; Rachel Thomas, Sumner Thomas, and one sister, Betty Shoemaker and her husband Donald of Dover. He was predeceased by a nephew.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 15, 2018 at 3:00 PM, at the Feiser Funeral Home, Inc, 302 Lincolnway West, New Oxford, with Major Harold Borrer officiating.  Burial will be private. A visitation will be held on Saturday at the funeral home from 2 PM until the time of the service.
