Donald L. Coon, Sr, 80, passed Friday, June 13, 2025, at UPMC West Shore.  He was the husband of the late Jacqueline K. (Bastress) Coon, who passed January 16, 2008.

Donald was born May 25, 1945, in York, the son of the late Thadeus H. and Martha E. (Sleighter) Coon.

Donald was a member of St. Paul's "Red Run" Church in East Berlin.

Donald is survived by a daughter, Kimberly A. Ross and her husband Paul of Columbia, a granddaughter, Nicole L. Lebo and her wife Lindsay Lebo of Carlisle, two grandsons; Jason L. Barshinger and his wife Nicole of York, and Scott S. Barshinger and his fiancée Tiara Atkins of Dallastown, and four great grandchildren; Andrew Wells, Brianna Romanoski, Lincoln Barshinger and Zoey Barshinger.  He was predeceased by 13 brothers and sisters.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, June 20, 2025, at 11 AM, at St. Paul's "Red Run" Church, 6623 Davidsburg Rd, East Berlin, with his pastor, Rev.
