Donald Leroy Becker, 92, of Thomasville, PA slipped peacefully into heaven on the wings of angels on Father’s Day, Sunday, June 21, 2026. Donald was born July 15, 1933, in York, PA to the late Robert M. and Mildred M. (Shelleman) Becker. Lovingly called Mike, he was a devoted husband happily sharing 74 years with the love of his life, Dolores Adele Becker.

Enjoying the great outdoors and all it had to offer was his passion from hunting and fishing to riding horses and working the ground growing crops for the animals and food for their family. Mike had a soft spot for babies and animals of almost any kind. Spending time with his children, friends and family filled him with great joy and especially teasing his grandchildren who lovingly called him Papaw.

In addition to his wife, Mike is survived by his four children, Bunny Stewart (John) of Dover, Heidi Bumsted (John) of York, Dawn Shatto (Joseph) of Dover; Shane Becker of York; 11 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Mike is proceeded in death by his siblings, Robert Becker, Betty Hackman, and Rodney Becker.

Celebration of a life well lived will be held on Monday, June 29, 2026, at 11:00 am at the Upper Conewago Church Cemetery, 391 Mummert’s Church Rd., Abbottstown, PA.
