Dian J. (Pulver) Cramer, 72, passed Saturday, July 12, 2025 at her home in New Oxford. She was the wife of James R. Cramer, her husband of 52 years, married in Lancaster on April 21, 1973.
Dian was born October 12, 1952 in Scranton, the daughter of the late Donald A. and Elizabeth (Evans) Pulver, Sr.
Dian was an active member of Emory United Methodist Church, serving in all aspects of leadership, as Sunday school teacher, President of Emory Preschool and singing on the choir. More recently, she was a volunteer at New Hope Ministries in New Oxford. Dian was a 1970 graduate of Conestoga Valley High School in Lancaster, and a 1972 graduate of Maryland Medical Secretarial School. Dian worked for Donald Withers, MD and Kurt Thomas, MD in Hanover for 20 years. She retired in 2020 from Gettysburg College Health Center as Administrative Assistant to the Director. Dian touched many lives through her work in the medical field as well as volunteering for over 20 years at a woman's shelter in Hanover, and with Safe Home in Gettysburg, facilitating group discussions with troubled and abused individuals. Her family wants to thank all those who supported them through this time of Dian's extended illness.
In addition to her husband Jim, Dian is survived by a daughter, Elizabeth (Cramer) Voronkov and her husband Daniel of Germantown, MD, a son, James R. Cramer and his wife Nichole of Portland, OR, a granddaughter, Beatrice of Portland OR, a brother Donald A. Pulver, Jr, and his wife Cynthia of Salisbury MD, and numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held Friday, July 25, 2025, at 11 AM, at Emory United Methodist Church, 35 Center Square, New Oxford with Rev. Michael Dawes officiating. In Lieu of flowers, please make donations to Emory United Methodist Church or donate your time or talents to New Hope Ministries, New Oxford Center, 154 Enterprise Drive, New Oxford, PA.
