Dennis C. Winand, Jr, 76, passed Thursday, January 11, 2024, at his home.  He was the husband of Rosella M. (Neiderer) Winand, his wife of 53 years.

Dennis was born January 23, 1947, in Hanover, the son of the late Dennis C. and A. Pauline (Arthur) Winand, Sr.

Dennis was a member of Upper Conewago Brethren Church in Abbottstown, and was co-owner of Winand Trucking, Inc.  He was very missioned minded and participated in in many missions to Haiti where he poured his heart into the people of Haiti, and served as chairman of the board of Flame Ministries.

In addition to his wife Rosella, Dennis is survived by three daughters, Diane R. Nell and her husband Shane of East Berlin, Angela M. Hade and her husband Marlin of Spring Grove, and Sandra J. Zeigler and her husband Robert of Biglerville, 8 grandchildren, a brother, Michael Winand and his wife Ronda of Rineyville, KY, and numerous nieces and nephews.  He was predeceased by a sister, Nancy Faircloth, and a brother, John J. Winand, Sr.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, January 16, 2024, at 1 PM, at Upper Conewago Brethren Church, 403 Mummert's Church Rd, Abbottstown.  Burial will be in the church cemetery.  Serving as pallbearers will be his grandchildren, Grace Nell, Levi Hade, Anna Hade, Amanda Nell, Thomas Nell, Abram Hade, Faith Hade and Alana Nell.  A viewing will be held at the church on Monday from 6-8 PM.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Flame Ministries, 61 Juniper Ln, East Berlin, PA 17316.  Feiser Funeral Home, Inc, 306 Harrisburg St, East Berlin, is in charge of arrangements.  Memories may be shared at www.feiserfuneralhome.com.
