Dennis E. Heathcote, Jr, 92, died Thursday, November 25, 2021, at Country Meadows in York.  He was the husband of the late Pauline E. (Crawford) Heathcote, who died March 16, 2019.

Dennis was born September 10, 1929, in York, the son of the late Dennis E. and Blanche (Bricker) Heathcote.

Dennis was a life member of the NRA.

Dennis is survived by two sons, Lynn C. Heathcote of Monroe, GA, and Daniel R. Heathcote and his wife Lori of York, two daughters, Barbara J. Gell and her husband Steve of Cocoa, FL, and Susan A. Curtis and her husband Dwain of Snellville, GA, and six grandchildren, Nicole Rank, Tyler Rank, Justin Gell, Cory Heathcote, Amanda Foxx, and Sara Curtis.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, December 4, 2021, at 2 PM, at St John's Church Cemetery, 100 E. Water St, Abbottstown, with Rev. Shawn Berkebile officiating.  A visitation will be held in the church from 1 PM until the time of the service.  Feiser Funeral Home, Inc, 302 Lincoln Way West, New Oxford, is in charge of arrangements.  Memories may be shared at www.feiserfuneralhome.com.
