David R. Trent, 72, passed Wednesday, November 8, 2023, at WellSpan Gettysburg Hospital.  He was the husband of Michele C. Emig Trent.

Dave was born November 14, 1950, in York, the son of the late Robert and Verna (Eckard) Trent.

Dave was a graduate of Dallastown High School and was employed by Progressive Services, Inc in Dover.

In addition to his wife Michele, Dave is survived by a daughter, Tiffany E. Trent, and her children Leo and Luna of Hershey, a son, Derrick D. Trent and his wife Sara Haxby of Dover, NH, two sisters, Connie Smith and her husband Lance of Dover, and Lori Trent of York, and two brothers, Eric Trent of York, and Joel Trent and his wife Noemi of Brunswick, OH.

A memorial service to celebrate Dave's life will be held on Tuesday, November 14, 2023, at 11 AM, at St. John's Lutheran Church, 100 E. Water St, Abbottstown, with Rev.
