David C. Griffith, 70, died Sunday, July 22, 2018, at UPMC Pinnacle Hanover Hospital.  He was the husband of Kathleen M. (Keating) Griffith, his wife of 51 years.

David was born February 8, 1948, in Gettysburg, the son of the late Robert C. and Rosie A. (Sweeney) Griffith.

David retired from Dentsply, and was an avid trap shooter at local gun clubs.  He was a former member of the Hanover Corvette Club, York Corvette Club, New Oxford Gun Club, Upper Adams Gun Club, and was a former NRA instructor.

In addition to his wife Kathleen, David is survived by a son, Bryon A. Griffith and his wife Tara of Gardners, a daughter, Joleen M. Sprenkle and her husband Eric of Abbottstown, and three grandchildren, Molly Griffith, Rebecca Sprenkle and Samuel Sprenkle.

Following cremation, a memorial service will be held on Friday, July 27, 2018, at 8 PM at the Feiser Funeral Home, Inc, 306 Harrisburg St, East Berlin, with Rev.
