David E. Costella, 83, passed Thursday, June 20, 2024, at the home of his companion, Sharon E. Spangler.

Dave was born November 29, 1940, in New Oxford, the son of the late H. Clayton and Rosella M. (Rabine) Costella.

In addition to his companion Sharon, Dave is survived by a daughter, Jena M. Rondinelli and her husband Sam of Marlboro, NJ, a son, David G. Costella and his wife Lisa of Gettysburg, three stepchildren, Bobbie Jo Ellis, Jeffrey Spangler and his wife Emily, and Billie Jo DiIulio and her husband Matthew, 11 grandchildren, Amber, Sam, Sophia, Isabelle, Hunter, Benjamin, Kaitlyn, Abigail, Gracie, Charlie and Tucker, a great granddaughter, Evangeline, two brothers, Allen L. Costella of Thomasville, and Charles C. Costella of East Berlin, and four sisters, Frances M. Morgan of Warren, Martha C. Barnes of CO, Nancy E. Lewis of Hanover, and Betty J. Orndorff of Warren.  He was predeceased by 3 brothers, George E. Costella, Willis A. Costella and Henry C. Costella, Jr, and a sister, Nadine Swope.
