Cynthia Gauthier passed away after a long illness on September 27, 2026 at UPMC Hanover Hospital surrounded by her loving family.
She was born on March 3, 1950 in Cupertino, CA, to the late Glenn H. and Theresa Muscato. She dedicated her life to raising her children and worked hard to provide for them at various employments.

On December 20, 2008 Cynthia married the love of her life, Kenneth Gauthier, and together they built a life with compassion and understanding working with their blended family.
Cynthia was a compassionate mother who was always there for her children as well as her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband of 18 years Kenneth; her daughter Theresa Culver and her husband Rodney of New Oxford, PA; her son Wayne Robinson and his wife Terry of Pennsburg, PA, Her step-daughters Kimberley Otley of Lincolnshire, England; and Christine Manning and her husband Anthony of Lexington, SC; Her step-son Kenneth Gauthier II of Denver, CO; her grandchildren Cheryl Blackburn and husband Josh of Hanover, PA; Brad Lantych of New Oxford, PA; Allison Smitherman and husband Jason of Millbrook, Al; Sean Culver and Mary Culver of New Oxford, PA; Nickolas Otley, Kaya Otley-Lewis and her husband Ayden of Lincolnshire England; Kenneth Gauthier III of OK; Caitlin and Grayson Manning of Lexington, SC; her great-grandchildren Joshua and Allison Blackburn of Hanover, PA; Alexandria Smitherman of Millbrook, Al; Theo and Finley Lewis of Lincolnshire, England.

No funeral services will be held. A private arrangement will be made at a later date.
