Curtis W. Thoman, 93, passed Thursday, January 22, 2026, at WellSpan York Hospital. He was the husband of Sheila R. (Gerbrick) Thoman, his wife of 46 years.
Curt was born August 30, 1932, in Dover, the son of the late Claude F. and Ruth A. (Danner) Thoman.
Curt was a member of St. Paul’s “Red Run” Church in East Berlin, a 40-year member of Williams Grove Historical Steam Engine Association and retired from York Casket after 32 years of service.
In addition to his wife Sheila, Curt is survived by a son, Jason C. Thoman and his wife Jaci of East Berlin, two grandchildren, Jailyn Z. Thoman and Jayton K. Thoman, both of East Berlin, and a brother, Claude F. Thoman, Jr and his wife Roxanne of East Berlin. He was predeceased by a brother, William E. Thoman.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 30, 2026, at 10 AM at St. Paul’s “Red Run” Church, 6623 Davidsburg Rd, East Berlin, with his pastor, Rev. Zach Stec officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. A viewing will be held at the church on Friday from 9 AM until the time of the service. Memorial contributions may be made to Williams Grove Historical Steam Engine Association. Feiser Funeral & Cremation Care, Inc, 306 Harrisburg St, East Berlin, is in charge of arrangements.
