Clyde J. Little, 86, of Gettysburg, died Monday, Nov. 7, 2016, at his residence. He was the husband of Pauline E. (Anderson) Little, his wife of 68 years.
Clyde was born April 6, 1930 in Gettysburg, the son of the late Charles E. and Anna G. (Evans) Little.
Clyde retired as maintenance supervisor at Green Acres Nursing Home in Gettysburg after more than 30 years of service. He was an avid hunter, fisherman, and Penn State fan, and spent more than 50 years in go-carting. He was a member of the Hunterstown Ruritan Club, New Oxford Social & Athletic Club, Gettysburg Eagles, and the NRA.
In addition to his wife Pauline, Clyde is survived by a grandson Robert L. Little of Gettysburg; a niece Kayla M. Ginter of Gettysburg; two great-grandsons, Joshua and Jake; and a sister Carolyn Rudisill of York. He was predeceased by two sons, Barry and Robert Little; two brothers, Gerald and Richard Little; and two sisters, Harriet Dennis and Margaret Sanders.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, Nov. 11, 2016 at 11 a.m. at the Feiser Funeral Home Inc., 302 Lincolnway West, New Oxford, with Rev. Randall Huber officiating. Burial will be in New Oxford Cemetery. A viewing will be held on Thursday at the funeral home from 6-8 p.m.
