Clifton C. "Chub" Reynold, 88, of New Oxford, passed Saturday, October 12, 2024 at UPMC Memorial Hospital, York. He was the husband of Patricia C. (Starry) Reynold, his wife of 64 years.

Chub was born October 17, 1935, in Thomasville, the son of the late Clifton S. and Gladys I. (Rinker) Reynold.

Chub was a member of St. Paul's U.C.C, in New Oxford.

In addition to his wife, Patricia, Chub is survived by a son, Jeffrey L. Reynold and his wife Kate, of Roulette, PA, a daughter, Diane M. Demey of New Oxford, two grandchildren, Kendra L. Cape and Emily N. Cape, two great grandchildren, Audrey S. Brough and Violet S. Cape, two step grandchildren, Robert Tomac and his wife Alisha and Casey Tomac and his wife Jessica, two step great grandchildren, Logan Tomac and Russell Tomac, two sisters, Peg Yingling and Deborah Breighner, four brothers, Robert, Barry, Gene, and Randy Reynold, and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a sister, Virginia Shaffer.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 18, 2024, at 11 AM, at St. Paul's U.C.C., 20 S. Peters St, New Oxford, with Rev. Preston VanDeursen officiating. Burial will be in New Oxford Cemetery. A viewing will be held at the church on Friday from 10 AM until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the church.
