Clair J. Myers

Clair J. Myers, 88, died July 9, 2016, peacefully at the home of his birth. Clair was the husband of the late Doris M. (Kinter) Myers, who died on April 5, 2016, his wife of 68 years.
Clair was born April 10, 1928 in Thomasville, the son of the late John W. and Grace A. (Zeigler) Myers.
Clair was a member of Paradise "Holtzschwamm" Lutheran Church in Thomasville. As a young man, Clair worked for CASE Farm Machinery dealership, and in 1960, he started his own CASE dealership with the help of his loving wife. Together, they formed the "Clair Myers Farm Equipment Co."
Clair is survived by a daughter, Cindy K. (Patterson) Zurat and her husband Joe of Thomasville; three sons, Robert B. Myers of Thomasville, Timothy L. Myers of Thomasville and Thomas L. Myers and his wife Ruth, of Thomasville; two grandchildren, Sarah and Andy Myers; and two sisters, Helen Bosserman of East Berlin and Mary Myers of Abbottstown. He was preceded in death by a sister, Erdene Haar.
