Charles L. Wiseman, 88, passed away Wednesday, October 20, 2021 at the Rest Haven Nursing Home, York alongside his wife Naomi P. (Sentz) Wiseman, his wife of 65 years.

Charles was born July 5, 1933 in Hanover, the son of the late Oda and Margaret (Bradley) Wiseman.

Charles was a graduate of New Oxford High school.

Charles was a member of Harmony Grove Community Church in Dover for 64 years. He was a Veteran of the Korean War serving with the U.S. Army as a tank driver in the artillery Division.  Charles was employed with Catepillar, Inc, York, for over 26 years until his retirement, as a machine operator. He was a carpenter who enjoyed building and renovating homes. Charles was a craftsman in many different areas, such as woodworking and leather crafting, to name a few.

In addition to his wife, Naomi, Charles is survived by a daughter, Deborah A. Rohrbaugh and her husband Joel of Mount Wolf, two sons, Jeffrey L. Wiseman and his wife Deanna of Herndon, Timothy A. Wiseman and his wife Tracey of Dover, nine grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren, a brother, Donald L. Wiseman of NC, numerous nieces, nephews and church friends. He was predeceased by two brothers, Samuel and Richard Wiseman.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 29, 2021 at 10 AM from Harmony Grove Community Church, 6390 Harmony Grove Rd, Dover, with Pastor Jim Crosley officiating. Burial will follow at Marburg Memorial Gardens, 2510 Grandview Rd, Hanover, with the PA Honor Guard detachment from Indiantown Gap National Cemetery. A viewing will be held at the church Friday, from 9 AM until the time of the service.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to Harmony Grove Community Church, 6390 Harmony Grove Rd., Dover, PA. 17315.
