Charles F. "Skip" Grasley, 78, of York Springs, died Friday, November 10, 2017 at the Brethren Home Community, New Oxford. He was the husband of Elwyn G. "Ellie" (Robertson) Grasley, his wife of 54 years.
Skip was born August 15, 1939 in Huntington NY. He was the son of the late Charles Francis and Hester (Glass) Grasley, Sr.
Skip was a veteran who served four years in the U.S. Air Force. He retired as a auto and truck mechanic. A special thanks goes to the caring staff at the Sun Valley floor in the Cross Keys Village, Brethren Home Community and the VVA Hospice of Spring Grove and Hanover.
In addition to his wife Ellie, Skip is survived by a son, Chris Grasley and his wife Jackie of Gettysburg, a granddaughter, Laura Grasley of Kennett Square, a sister, Patricia Van Houten of SC, a sister-in-law, Jean Fossing of Long Island, NY, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be private. Feiser Funeral Home, Inc. 302 Lincoln Way West, New Oxford, is in charge of the arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to the Alzheimer's Association, 3544 N. Progress Ave., Ste. 205, Harrisburg, PA. 17110. Memories may be shared at www.feiserfuneralhome.com.
Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
