Carla Dee (Weaver) Lehr, 68, of New Oxford, passed Friday, October 18, 2024, in Lancaster. She is the wife of Michael R. Lehr, Sr, her husband of 28 years.

Carla was born February 16, 1956 in Hanover, the daughter of the late Richard R. and Katherine I. (Graham) Weaver.

Carla graduated from Delone Catholic High School in McSherrystown in 1974. During her working years, Carla managed the shoe department at the Bon-Ton in Hanover, and later served as the assistant manager at Bear's Shoes in Hanover. She took great pride in her customer's satisfaction. Outside of work, Carla loved her time at the beach, with Cape May, NJ, being her favorite getaway. She often captured family moments with her camera, and her home was filled with these cherished memories. She also enjoyed swimming, water workouts, and regularly gathered with friends for card games.

Carla was a determined, spirited, and fun-loving individual who enjoyed spending time with her extended family.

In addition to her husband, Michael, Carla is survived by a son, Gregory Bennett of York, a stepson, Michael R. Lehr, Jr, of New Oxford, a grandson, Addison Bennett of York, two step grandsons, and a sister Suzette Little and her husband Lee of McSherrystown. She was predeceased by two sisters, Peg Greenholt and her husband Dick and Yvonne Smith and her husband Pat.

Following cremation, a memorial Mass will be held Tuesday, October 29, 2024 at 11 AM, from Annunciation BVM Catholic Church, 26 North Third St, McSherrystown, with Rev. Richard Lyons officiating. Burial will follow at the church cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the church. Feiser Funeral Home, Inc, 302 Lincoln Way West, New Oxford, is in charge of arrangements.
