C. William "Bill" Noel, 94, entered into God's eternal care on Tuesday, January 31, 2023, at his home.  He was the husband of the late Madeline F. (Rightmire) Noel, for 60 years, who passed October 10, 2008.

Born March 16, 1928 in New Oxford.  Son of the late Arthur and Regina (Klunk) Noel.

In addition to being a loving husband, Daddy, and Papaw, he was a member of Immaculate Conception Church and was a hardworking entrepreneur, including founding Noel's Men's Shop of New Oxford, and built two homes for his family.  He enjoyed going on walks, reading, doing puzzles, and keeping those around him entertained with his stories and quick wit. Bill is survived by a son, William A. Noel of Scottsville, VA, six daughters, Beverly A. Snyder of Mechanicsburg, Deborah M.A. Piper and her husband Ronald of Tampa, FL, Sandra M. Noel Angel and her husband Scott of Hanover, Carolyn S. Myers and her husband David of Hanover, Donna M. Laughman and her husband Darwin of East Berlin, and Stephanie E. Sentz of New Oxford, 15 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, and a sister, Teresa Bunty of Newton, MS.  He was predeceased by two sons, Steven E. and Jerry A. Noel, three grandchildren, five brothers, Herbert, Rodney, Joseph, Francis and Robert Noel, and four sisters, Maria Noel, Mary Baker, Lucretia Noel and Kathleen Perry.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, February 9, 2023, at 10 AM, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 106 Carlisle St, New Oxford, with Rev. Keith Carroll officiating.  Burial will be in the church cemetery.  A viewing will be held on Wednesday, from 6-8 PM, at Feiser Funeral Home, Inc, 302 Lincoln Way West, New Oxford, with prayers at 8 PM.  Memorial contributions may be made to the church.  Memories may be shared at www.feiserfuneralhome.com.
