Broadus W. Smith, 93, passed Thursday, February 2, 2023, at his home.  He was the husband of the late Mary S. (Sprouse) Smith, his wife of 70 years, who passed December 13, 2020.

Broadus was born November 22, 1929, in Spartanburg, SC, the son of the late Broadus B. and Evelyn P. (Rollins) Smith.

Broadus is survived by a daughter, Susan P. King of East Berlin, and a granddaughter, Denise Moscarell of Dover.  He was predeceased by a daughter, Barbara Ann Smith and a son-in-law, Clifford J. King.

A graveside service will be held on Monday, February 6, 2023, at 2 PM, at St. John's Cemetery in New Chester, with Rev. Douglas C. Hahn officiating.  Memorial contributions may be made to VNA/Hospice, 440 N.
