Bonnie Kay (DeHaven) Olcus, 66, passed away peacefully on Friday, July 17, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family. She was born on August 2, 1959, in Hanover, Pennsylvania, to the late Earl and Dorothy (Goulden) DeHaven, Sr., who raised her with strong values, a deep sense of loyalty, and a love for family that defined her life.
Bonnie was a 1977 graduate of Bermudian Springs High School, where she formed friendships and memories that stayed with her throughout her life. In 1994, she married her husband, William Marc Olcus, and together they built a life rooted in love, laughter, and devotion to family.
Bonnie was a proud and loving mother to Kelly McMillan (husband Jarrid) and Todd Myers (wife Abby). Her greatest joy, however, was being “Ninna” to her cherished grandchildren, Chase McMillan, Camrynn McMillan, Raegan (Husband Jaydn) Jacoby, Zachary Myers, Katelyn Myers, Madelyn Myers, and Thomas Myers, as well as to her beloved great-grandson, Grayson Sloan. Being Ninna was more than a title. It was who she was at her core, nurturing, protective, endlessly loving, and always present.
Throughout her life, Bonnie was known for her strong work ethic and outgoing personality. She was previously employed by Hanover Lantern, was the former owner of Bonnie’s Lakeside at Lake Meade, and most recently found great success as a realtor with RE/MAX Hanover, where her warmth, honesty, and dedication left a lasting impression on her clients and colleagues alike.
Bonnie was deeply involved in her community and took pride in giving back. She was a member of the East Berlin VFW, the New Oxford Social Club, the Realtor Association of York and Adams County, and the East Berlin Fire Company. Her presence was felt wherever she went, and she had a way of making people feel welcome, heard, and valued.
In addition to her loving husband, children, and grandchildren, Bonnie is survived by her siblings, Gloria Harbaugh (husband Larry), Betty Wicker, Connie Stup, Earl DeHaven Jr. (wife Diane), Cathy DeHaven, Wendy Bare (husband Randy), Vicki Holsopple (husband Steve), and numerous nieces and nephews whom she adored.
Bonnie was preceded in death by her beloved sister, Karen (DeHaven) Sheasley, and her in-laws, Robert J. and Donna R. Olcus, nehew Shane DeHaven, and niece Amy(DeHaven) Myers
Bonnie will be remembered for her fierce love for her family, her generous heart, her strength, and the way she showed up for the people she loved, without hesitation and without conditions. Her legacy will live on through the many lives she touched.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the Adams County SPCA located at 11 Goldenville Rd, Gettysburg, PA 17325.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend Bonnie’s memorial service to be held on Friday, July 31, 2026, at the Heidlersburg United Brethren; 2736 Heidlersburg Rd, Gettysburg, PA 17325 at 11:00am with Pastor Craig Loewen_ officiating. The Family will receive friends from 10:00am to the time of the service. The family also welcomes everyone to come to the East Berlin VFW107 Locust St, East Berlin, PA 17316 immediately after the service for a celebration of life luncheon. A private inurnment will follow at a later date.
