Bonnie L. (Hancock) Beers, 78, passed Friday, September 20, 2024, at WellSpan Gettysburg Hospital.  She was the wife of Leroy H. Beers, her husband of 64 years.

Bonnie was born September 29, 1945, in Shippensburg, the daughter of the late Lawrence Hancock and the late Catherine (Gilbert) Beers.

Bonnie retired from Knouse Foods, and enjoyed traveling with her daughters, doing crafts with her grandchildren, and gardening.

In addition to her husband Leroy, Bonnie is survived by a son, LeeRoy H. Beers and his wife Caroline, of Gardners, two daughters, Leisa M. Strausbaugh and her husband Bob of East Berlin, and Catherine A. Naugle and her husband John Snyder of East Berlin, six grandchildren, three step grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, a brother, Larry Hancock and his wife Judy of Harrisburg, and two sisters, Rhoda Guttie and her husband John, and Christine Morris, all of Harrisburg.  She was predeceased by a son-in-law, Rodney Naugle.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, September 26, 2024, at 11 AM, at Feiser Funeral Home, Inc, 302 Lincoln Way West, New Oxford, with Pastor Barry Sweitzer officiating.  Burial will be in Red Run Cemetery, East Berlin.  A viewing will be held at the funeral home on Thursday from 10 AM until the time of the service.  Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, PO Box 417005, Boston, MA 02241.  Memories may be shared at www.feiserfuneralhome.com.
