Billy W. Bunch, Jr., 56, of Abbottstown, entered eternal rest on Wednesday, July 8, 2026, at Penn State Health Milton S. Hershey Medical Center. He was born in Maryland and was the son of the late Billy W. Sr. and Linda L. (Gladfelter) Keener.

He belonged to the McSherrystown Home Association where he liked spending his time. He was an avid hunter and outdoorsman, and enjoyed being in nature and watching the animals. Besides for his love of dogs, smoking meat, and BBQ’s his greatest joy was time with family and friends who he cherished.

Billy is survived by his siblings, Mark Bunch of Fairfield, PA, and Holly Whittington (Cliff) of MD; longtime girlfriend of 24 years, Karen E. Brown; step-daughter, Christy Hollinger; nieces and nephews, Olivia Bunch, Ava Bunch, Maya Bunch, Douglas Gladfelter (Hannah), Cody Gladfelter, and Luke Flickinger.

A Memorial Service will take place at the convenience of the family.
