Beryl A. (Newman) O'Brien, 89, passed Sunday, December 10, 2023, at Homewood at Plum Creek, Hanover.  She was the wife of George A. O'Brien, Sr, her husband of 68 years.

Beryl was born November 18, 1934, in Sturminster Newton, England, the daughter of the late Bertram E.G. and Esme S. (Pope) Newman.

In addition to her husband George, Beryl is survived by five sons, Barry O'Brien and his wife Missy of Mt. Airy, MD, Michael O'Brien and his wife Cindy of New Oxford, and George O'Brien, Jr, Neal O'Brien, Sr, and James O'Brien, all of Abbottstown, two daughters, Sue A. Miller of Hanover, and Tina M. O'Brien of Selinsgrove, 16 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren and a sister Marilyn March of Wincanton, England.  She was predeceased by a brother, Barry Newman and a daughter-in-law, Tanya O'Brien.
