Barry L. Markle, 59, passed away Thursday, August 12, 2021, at his home in Hanover.

Barry was born September 8, 1961 in Hanover, the son of the late William and Ruth (Harman) Markle.

Barry was a U.S. Navy Veteran, stationed in Norfolk, VA. He was employed with the Evening Sun Newspaper for 35 years.

Barry is survived by a son, Nathaniel D. Markle of York, a daughter, Danielle M. Markle of York, two grandchildren, Landen and Ryleigh Markle, and six half siblings, Robert Noel of Hanover, Carroll Noel of Potter Co, Rosalie Blouse of Hanover, Shirley Prince of York, Catherine Wilhelm of Hanover and Nancy Warren of Hanover.

Funeral services will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to Feiser Funeral Home, Inc. 302 Lincolnway West, New Oxford, PA 17350 to help defray the cost of the funeral.
